Welcome to my Language and Literacy Narrative portfolio. This section represents more than just a writing assignment—it reflects a personal journey of growth, challenge, and self-discovery through language. As someone who did not grow up speaking English fluently, learning the language often felt intimidating, frustrating, and sometimes even impossible. Yet through determination, practice, and many unforgettable experiences, English slowly became a bridge to new opportunities and a new chapter of my life.

In this narrative, I share the story of preparing for the Duolingo English Test, overcoming self-doubt, and eventually achieving my goal of studying in New York.
